Terms

Terms of use

These terms govern access to the Income Recon lender workspace. A signed service agreement controls if it conflicts with this page.

Authorized use

Income Recon is provided to authorized business users for income corroboration and diligence in connection with a legitimate credit application or account review. Users may enter information only when their organization has a lawful basis and any required authorization to use it. Client organizations are responsible for their own SCRA access, permissible use, notices, recordkeeping, and lender decisions.

Use of results

Results are calculation and corroboration aids. They are not a credit decision, an SCRA status certificate, a military service record, an employment verification, or a guarantee of present or future income. Users must review source documents, current official guidance, and their organization’s underwriting rules before relying on a result.

A result marked unavailable, inconsistent, or requiring review must not be converted into a negative factual conclusion about an applicant. The lender remains responsible for any follow-up, explanation, or adverse-action reason required by law or policy.

Account security

Each user must use an assigned account, protect the password and two-factor authentication method, and report suspected compromise promptly. Shared credentials, attempts to bypass access controls, automated extraction, reverse engineering, security testing without written authorization, and access outside the client’s legitimate business purpose are prohibited.

Data minimization

Users should enter only the fields required by the selected tool. Do not enter a Social Security number, full date of birth, account number, driver’s license number, or unrelated application data. Do not place sensitive applicant information in support requests.

Service operation

Rate tables and calculation rules may change when official source material changes or an error is corrected. Income Recon may suspend access to protect the service, investigate misuse, perform maintenance, or comply with law. Support commitments, fees, warranties, liability limits, confidentiality duties, and termination rights are governed by the signed service agreement.
